2025 has been a year of transition and growth for Procure Smart. In 2024, we moved from start-up to scale-up, and scale-up we did.
A forecasted expansion of the team throughout 2025 meant an office move, so our Sunderland Team packed up and headed to our new home in the heart of Doxford International Business Park. Our top-class Doxford Works office is a fitting environment for a growing business.
We also opened our office in Manchester last January, providing access to a new talent pool. Flying past 50 colleagues meant these moves were absolutely needed, and there is also more room to grow in 2026. Watch this space…
If expanding to another major UK city wasn’t enough, we also launched our Dubai offer. A unique opportunity for high-performing sales professionals with experience in the energy sector to relocate to year-round sunshine, tax-free commissions and a vibrant lifestyle.
Our Partnership Scheme hit the ground running in October, with 10 partner businesses already in place. The scheme allows businesses with strong B2B contacts and client bases to recommend Procure Smart’s comparison and switching services for a share of revenue.
Our expert team have built strong relationships with suppliers and partners, meaning the quality of our service is unmatched for our customers. Their hard work and strong relationships has meant our customer base has grown to 167% of 2024’s total portfolio.
As a proud Sunderland company, we joined the Sunderland Business Partnership and Sunderland’s BIDs as an Affiliate Member, giving us access to invaluable support and connections with other growing local businesses.
As we headed into the festive season, our Charity Committee was formed, with Christmas initiatives launched for Sunderland Food Bank and local children’s charity, Love, Amelia. Our generous colleagues worked together to donate almost £700 worth of food, weighing in at 153KG and equalling approximately 191 meals! We also granted the Christmas wishes of over 50 local children with gift donations galore.
At the heart of everything we do is our customers, and they speak for themselves; our Google and Trustpilot scores both stand proud at 5 stars. One grateful local business saved a massive £348,968 on their energy contracts alone thanks to our expert team, which was one of our largest single savings this year.
