Job Role: Business Solutions Manager/Business Development Manager

Office Based, SR1, City Centre, Sunderland

£25,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + Commission

Weekdays only, 3pm Friday finish. No shifts.

What will you be doing?

Your professional purpose will be to build and manage a portfolio of prospective B2B customers. The core of your role will be classic business development and generation. But, Procure Smart’s new approaches to business contract switching means you will be supported with new, data-led opportunities, genuinely attractive new products and bundle-selling approaches to maximise the value for your customers and the digits on your commission statement.

You’ll be selling the latest renewables technology, bundling multi-service B2B deals and given the entrepreneurial opportunity to grow your own customer base.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for exceptional sales professionals with a proven track record of performance and a disruptive mindset, ready for challenge and change in an industry where you’ve heard the same promises over and over.

But to really be our kind of Business Solutions Manager/BDM, you must have:

The basics of the job:

  • Source a continuous stream of highly qualified leads and prospects.
  • Present, promote and explore different services for each customer.
  • Establish and build long-term relationships with prospects to ensure a continuous flow of strong revenue.
  • Overcome objections that might be suggested by prospective opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to maximise commercial opportunities for yourself, your customer and the business.
  • Convert every potential customer into a sale.
  • Work towards determined sales revenue targets and other key performance indicators.
