We are loud and proud sports fans at Procure Smart. Summer 2026 continues to be our true Summer of Sport.
The World Cup kicked everything off, with a team sweepstake raising funds for Lifelong Ability North East (we have more exciting sports activities coming very soon to raise even more money for this wonderful charity… watch this space!).
We spent the pre-season working closely with the team at Spennymoor Town FC and the Brewery Field, preparing for the 26/27 National League North season with a renewed sense of drive.
As if we weren’t excited enough that football is back, we also took the opportunity to partner with our valued clients at Sheffield Wednesday and get the Procure Smart brand in front of a few more eyeballs… roughly 33,000 on-site on the day and countless more watching on Sky Sports. We were thrilled to see our name literally in lights and hope the rest of the season brings exciting developments for all involved in the partnership.

By partnering with various sporting facilities, we hope to get fans on-side and benefitting from our services, while also giving them the ability to support their team or club in an entirely new way, as we share revenue with the organisations.
Alongside Sheffield Wednesday, we support local Commonwealth International Champion boxer Joe Miller, whose dedication, resilience and professionalism embody the values we admire. Joe has his eyes set on the Northern Area Featherweight Title next, and we back him all the way!
We enjoyed a surprise “Procure Smart Derby” at Whitburn Cricket Club this weekend in the final of the Procure Smart-sponsored Hedworth Williamson Bowl!
Two of our valued clients and partners, Hetton Lyons CC and Whitburn CC, both won their respective semi-finals on Sunday to set up a fantastic final on finals day, hosted at Whitburn.
It was a brilliant contest between two clubs we’re proud to work with, with Hetton Lyons CC eventually coming out on top to lift the trophy!
Huge congratulations to Hetton, and well done to both clubs on reaching the final.
