We are thrilled to announce that we have continued our growth journey by welcoming eight new starters at our Sunderland City Centre HQ today.
The starters will fulfil a range of roles across our Business, Operations and Renewables divisions.
They will enter the business via a newly created route, named “The Launchpad”. This is an intensive programme designed to upskill all employees and equip them with the skills they need to enjoy great careers with Procure Smart.
The business has now reached a headcount of 41 and is looking to fill more vacancies.
Craig Shields, Managing Director at Procure Smart, said: “We have had an exciting few weeks preparing for the arrival of our first major intake of 2024 and we could not be happier to welcome this vibrant group.
“Our business is fast-paced and dynamic. As such, it always feels like there is something new going on and there is nothing quite like welcoming a large group of new colleagues.
“When we came to Sunderland City Centre, we did so with the intention of bringing jobs to the city and we’re proud to be delivering against this within 12 months of arriving.
“The Launchpad is a new concept for us, which will enable us to attract professionals from outside our sector and provide the training they need to thrive in B2B sales. This allows us to create a conveyor belt of talent and diversify our internal skillset, which we believe is the right thing to do.
