Procure Smart has continued to improve its customer offer with the launch of a new CRM system.

From automating internal processes to newly accessible customer features, Procure Smart’s UtilityClick CRM will revolutionise the business’ customer management.

Perhaps most excitingly, all customers will be provided with a logon portal, which holds all of their contract details; renewal windows; their latest letter of authority; query requests; action tracking; bill validation; and carbon reporting.

The portal will link with Procure Smart’s proprietary quoting and contracting system, Switch Savvi, to create a wrap-around, tech-enabled version of Procure Smart’s services.

The new system functionality will be retrospectively applied to all of the business’ 1,200+ customer accounts.  The details of how to access account features will be communicated in due course.

Liam Groves, Head of Operations at Procure Smart, said: “UtilityClick is an industry leading platform, which fits seamlessly into our processes.  It will provide instant intelligence to our account managers and automate a number of manual tasks for colleagues, speeding up our response times for queries and further increasing the speed at which we can provide quotes and switches.

“Working with the UtilityClick team has been a great experience so far and we have big plans to develop our platform further for the benefit for our customers.”

Craig Shields, Managing Director of Procure Smart, said: “We have declared that we are taking the business to the next level and investing in our technology is a great demonstration of our commitment to our colleagues and customers.

“We did some heavy due diligence on UtilityClick during the tendering process and feedback was positive from around the industry.  They were able to win out versus some of the largest CRM providers in the world because we felt their offer could provide more time savings, faster.

“Rollout will take place over the course of May and we look forward to seeing our customers reap the rewards.”

Andy Hunter, CEO at UtilityClick, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Procure Smart as they elevate their service offering through software. Their team has been laser-focused on delivering true value to customers, and it’s been exciting to help assemble the tools to make that possible.

“At the heart of our work with Procure Smart has been a shared goal: giving both their team and their customers greater control, clarity, and conviction in managing energy. The result is a platform that streamlines internal workflows while empowering end users with easy access to key insights.

“It’s been a fantastic collaboration and a brilliant example of how technology can be leveraged to drive meaningful change in the energy sector.”

After a full review of the business’ processes, we have also invested in a new HR system, “Breathe HR”, to improve efficiency and increase automation of HR administration.

The new system provides an accessible app for colleagues to streamline their HR processes, including holiday and absence bookings.  The system has also expedited the business’ recruitment onboarding and large-scale report automation.

Liam Groves continued: “We’ve prepared the business for growth with quality processes and market leading systems.  The employee experience is always improving as we grow and will become a point of difference for Procure Smart in our competitive jobs market.”
