A Sunderland B2B contract switching business has created three new jobs, less than three months after an initial expansion.
Procure Smart, based at Sunderland Software Centre, has announced new roles in marketing, IT and business development.
These vacancies complement five sales executive roles created in November.
The firm helps other businesses switch and save on utilities contracts, including energy, water, telecoms and card payments. It created a new turnkey renewables service in October, helping businesses investigate, plan, fund and install renewable technology projects.
It currently employs 32 people, with plans to increase its headcount in Sunderland city centre over coming months.
The business’ digital division is developing disruptive technology to allow businesses to take more control of their energy contracts by switching online, potentially leading to further future growth.
Craig Shields, Managing Director of Procure Smart, said: “We are widening our recruitment campaign outside of sales and into other professional areas.
“We recently completed a branding project and launched a new website, which has positioned us excellently for our future developments. These new roles will be key in delivering those projects and realising the potential we’ve built in our first year of trading.
“We’re looking for dynamic people who are eager to develop themselves and build their CVs in a fast-paced start-up, which is looking to make a name for itself.
